WFTO, the World Fair Trade Organisation (www.wfto.com), formerly IFAT, is the leading global network of Fair Trade Organizations. WFTO has a vision of a world in which trade structures and practices have been transformed to work in favour of the poor and promote sustainable development and justice. WFTO’s mission is to enable producers to improve their livelihoods and communities through Fair Trade. WFTO will be the global network and advocate for Fair Trade, ensuring producer voices are heard.

WFTO has over 300 members in 70 countries. Its membership represents the Fair Trade chain from production to sale, including producer co-operatives and associations, export marketing companies, importers, retailers, Fair Trade networks and support organizations.

In the GEO FAIR TRADE Project, WFTO will cooperate and participate in the Validation & Dissemination Board by fulfilling the evaluation and dissemination tasks.
