Please submit papers and register to the conference on or before the following dates:
The 4th FTIS/GFT Final Conference will be held at the Liverpool-Hope University, who will host the conference along with the EU-funded GeoFairTrade project and FAIRNESS. The GeoFairTrade project is a geo-traceability project for Fair Trade visibility. The GeoFairTrade Tool will be presented in the conference along with the six case studies. Using geographical and local data of the producers’ production environs, the Geo Fair Trade Tool, will show traceability of Fair Trade products back to the producers and provide information about the environmental set up of the producers and their Fair Trade practices. The aim of the tool is to bring producers closer to the consumers. This web-based tool enables consumers to view at glance images, maps and indicators related to the Fair Trade producers.
